Yes. Lay a 6 mil vapor barrier over the concrete, make sure the slab is flat within 3/16 inch over 10 feet, and fix any active leak first.

No. Every plank we sell has a foam IXPE pad already attached. Adding a second pad makes the joints flex, so skip it. The only extra layer is a vapor barrier over concrete.

Alpine is 5mm and the lightest. Montclair is 6.5mm with a thicker pad, so it is the quietest. Harper is 6.5mm in wide 9-inch planks. Citadel is 8mm with a 32 mil wear layer, our toughest plank.
